如何看懂就业记录(ROE)?

Record of Employment (ROE) 就业记录是一份,由雇主为离职员工所填写的表格。ROE 作为申请 Employment Insurance (EI) 失业保险的必要文件,包含了重要信息,包括:雇主信息,员工信息,离职原因,工作时长 (insurable hours),以及收入 (insurable earnings)。当员工离职时,雇主必须要向 Service Canada 提交ROE,有时雇主也会给员工提供一份,但这不是强制的。 需要注意的是,即使该离职员工不打算申请EI,雇主也有义务提供 ROE。这是一张 ROE 表格,下面我们先来了解一些专业术语。

收入 (insurable earnings) 是指,雇主支付给员工的、缴纳了 EI 保费的、各种报酬。通常在工资单 (paystub)上有显示。工资单怎么看?

工作时长 (insurable hours) 是指,获得收入 (insurable earnings) 所工作的时长。

BOX 1: ROE序列号

BOX 2: 修改后的ROE序列号

BOX 3: 雇主工资文件参考号

BOX 4: 雇主姓名和地址

BOX 5: 雇主税号

BOX 6: 工资发放周期 (常见的周期有 bi-weekly, semi-monthly, monthly)

BOX 7: 雇主有变

BOX 8: 员工社保号 (SIN)

BOX 9: 员工姓名和地址

BOX 10: 第一天上班日期

BOX 11: 最后一次获得报酬的日期,通常是上班的最后一天

BOX 12: 最后一次工资发放周期的截止日期

BOX 13: 员工职位

BOX 14: 预计返工日期

BOX 15A: 在职期间总工时

BOX 15B: 在职期间总收入

BOX 15C:每个period所挣工资

BOX 16: 离职原因。常见的离职原因有多种:

  • 工作短缺/合同到期
  • 雇主破产
  • 罢工/停工
  • 疾病/受伤
  • 员工主动辞职(因为配偶配偶工作调动,上学,健康原因,退休,换新工作,更换工作地点,照顾孩子,等等)
  • 怀孕
  • 强制退休
  • 学徒培训
  • 被解雇
  • 获批假期/事假
  • 育婴假 (parental)
  • 照顾家庭

BOX 17: 除工资和福利外,雇主支付给员工的其他费用 (例如vacation pay 或 法定假期)

BOX 18: 备注

BOX 19: 已付病假/产假等各种假

BOX 20: 语言

BOX 21: 出具ROE人员联系电话

BOX 22: 出具ROE人员

ROE常见问题

通常需要在该员工最后一次工作周期 (period end) 后的5天内提交,或在工作受到影响的第一天起的15天内提交。

只要雇主向Service Canada提交了ROE,就不需要再向员工提供复印件了。

需要。雇主需要保存员工的ROE记录及其相关文件,至少六年。

可以。纸质申请和电子提交的ROE都可以修改。

不可以。一旦ROE提交到了Service Canada,就无法取消。
